Advantages of Aoyama

Aoyama's work abroad

Aoyama & Partners leads the industry in terms of international experience.
Since the start of our firm, our founder, Tamotsu Aoyama, placed great emphasis on developing global relations.
Overcoming many of the challenges people faced in the 1950s when travelling overseas,
he personally visited to the US to learn about American patent practice.
Since then, the firm has handled a cumulative total of approximately 200,000 international patent,
design and trademark applications, and has handled applications from approximately 200 countries.
See the map below for our track record by country.

In addition, by utilizing our close network of general law firms and patent law firms in various countries,
which has been cultivated for over 60 years, we provide a full range of services,
from application filing to grant, trials and litigation.
