Mitsuo FUKUMASA studied organic chemistry (syntheses and applications of novel hydrocarbons) at Graduate School of Engineering, and then studied liquid-crystalline materials (syntheses and developments for displays and lubricating materials) at a major petroleum company for ten years. His inventions were filed as patent applications more than twenty. Moreover, his studies were presented at academic conferences etc., and submitted as a doctoral thesis, so that he obtained Ph.D. from Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University. Furthermore, he joined AOYAMA & PARTNERS, and practiced in the intellectual property field since 1998. His primary focus is on filing of patent applications and responding to official actions with Japanese and foreign Patent Offices. He would like to become a professional on both technology and law based on his experiences on his studies. Further, he considers that it is very important to understand technologies of the invention precisely, clearly and sufficiently. He is fighting technologies and law every day so as to protect the invention legally. He is excited to hear a new invention. He is always studying technology and laws so as to meet the expectations of customers with regard to the protection of the invention.
