Atsushi MAEDA studied mechanical engineering at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. He worked as design engineer at the Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for 10 years and obtained knowledge of structure, function and production method of many kinds of machines and equipment through his design work of engine room of tanker and chemical/desalination plant equipment. Since 1984, he engaged in intellectual property work at Aoyama & Partners and handles many domestic and foreign patent and utility model applications, office action, expert opinion, translation, appeal and litigation.
