Ken-Ichi MORIZUMI majored in polymer chemistry at Kyoto university, acquired a wide range of basic knowledge on organic/inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry etc, and received master’s degree in the field of Polymer Chemistry for a research theme on peptides as a collaboration with Cornell University. After that, he has engaged in the development of technologies related to synthetic resins and in domestic and overseas start-up projects for new polymerization plants c/o Toray Industries, Inc. (chemical company).

As a patent attorney, he has been engaged in practice in patent applications, and licensing and enforcement of patents in the Intellectual Property Department of the same company for about ten years, afterwards for over 10 years at our firm serving domestic/foreign clients. He is belonging to and heading Chemistry/Materials Science department in the firm.
