Mutsumi SAMEJIMA studied chemical engineering at Faculty and Graduate School of Kyoto University, and then worked as a researcher at a chemical company, Daicel for eight years. He joined Aoyama & Partners in 1986, served as CEO from 2012 to 2017, and is now a counsel of said firm. He has mainly engaged in patent prosecution work.
