Hisatoshi SHINAGAWA studied pharmaceutical sciences at the Faculty and Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyoto University. He worked for a Japanese pharmaceutical company as a researcher for about 12 years. During his life of the researcher, he has experiences in drug discovery researches, and producing researches including manufacturing process, formulation process and analytical science.
He has practiced in the intellectual property field at Aoyama & Partners since 2002. He has succeeded in making many pharmaceutical inventions allowed by benefiting from the long-term experience as the company researcher. In particular, he is good at the prosecution of crystalline polymorphism inventions because he experienced in problems of polymorphism when he was the company researcher.
